The Corvette is a dream car for many, including an array of young people across the United States. In particular, Tripp Postmus—a young man who was recently diagnosed with cancer—can’t get enough of the latest Corvette models hitting the market. That’s why Corvette Racing and the Make a Wish Foundation recently partnered to give Tripp an opportunity like never before. At Ginn Chevrolet, this is just one of many reasons we’re proud to be associated with the Chevy community.
The Corvette Racing team gave Tripp an opportunity to get behind the wheel of the #3 C7.R racecar at the 24 Hours of Daytona event. GM Authority notes that Postmus chose Corvette Racing because he’s a huge fan of their team, and he and his family even had an opportunity to visit the Corvette Racing garage to get up close and personal with the equipment and cars.
Additionally, Corvette Racing also said that it will be putting several items up for auction on eBay to benefit Postmus. You can bid on hats, suits, trophies and posters. There’s also a GoFundMe page for Postmus, the proceeds of which can help to defray medical costs for Postmus and his family.
