Fall is just around the corner, and families looking to celebrate this beautiful season together will love the 39th Annual Olde Town Fall Festival, which has been a favorite of both families and individuals alike for nearly four decades. The event was started by the Rockdale County Historical Society, and has been a staple of the fall season ever since.
This year, the Annual Olde Town Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019. The festival is held at 901 Railroad St. in Conyers, Georgia. Admission and parking are free, and families are welcome to come for some or all of the day to enjoy browsing the many local arts and crafts on display, or to enjoy a delicious lunch from one of the many food vendors. There will also be plenty of activities geared specifically towards kids, as well as live entertainment.
Those who like to get their workout in before indulging in festival food are encouraged to come to Conyers ahead of the event to run for a cause at the Race Against Violence (RAV) 5K. The race begins at 8 a.m. the morning of the Fall Festival at Conyers First United Methodist Church.
If you need a new ride to get your family to this seasonal treat, Ginn Chevrolet is only a short drive away in Covington, Georgia.
